Plastic Surgery In Latvia

PLASTIC SURGERY IN LATVIA

Summer is almost upon in Latvia, or rather the weekend is already booked by the sea to enjoy the sun, this is often a "hand break" for patients who have remembered late to make a "retouch" to be ready for a costume fitting, however, there are exceptions!

For example, for breast augmentation (breast augmentation) it is never too late!

This operation involves small surgical accesses (small scars), generally located along with the sub-mammary groove or below the areola, all areas well hidden by a bathing suit, which is why the "sun" problem becomes secondary!

The basic concept is that the sun is the enemy of scars, but if the scar is well covered or "hidden" in the sun the problem does not arise. But for sure for 15-20 days in the post-operative period, the patient cannot immediately go to the beach, as the wound can become infected with sand and the patient must necessarily carry a content band 24 hours a day that will allow the prosthesis housed in the sub-muscular pocket to fix itself correctly.

But after the first 2/3 weeks the sea is close at hand; all this, for example, is not possible for the liposculpture procedure, to which, in the postoperative period, there are bruises and swelling that last for some time longer and make sun exposure highly discouraged.

Anyway, just remember that the "homeland" of plastic surgery in Latvia, and right there it is summer all year round, it goes without saying that the common belief that you cannot undergo cosmetic surgery during the summer is a wrong concept, it will be the careful and scrupulous surgeon to make the patient understand whether that tweak is appropriate or not in that specific period of time.

LIPOFILLING IN LATVIA

Lipofilling is a treatment characterized by an implantation in some areas of the body of a quantity of fat that is taken from other areas of the same body. Lipofilling is a full-fledged cosmetic surgery procedure that allows you to model certain areas of the body, increasing their volume, improving the contours and proportions, using a part of autologous fat that is taken from another area of the same body. The filler therefore has the purpose of giving new tone and greater volume to some parts of the body that are particularly lacking, in this case, however, instead of being based on hyaluronic acid or other bioabsorbable substances, it is totally 100% autologous.

You can use this technique to improve your body in the right places, for example, to increase the volume of the breasts, or to erase scars, but also to reduce wrinkles, make cheeks, lips, cheekbones, and buttocks firmer.

Lipofilling has several advantages and positive implications, first of all because it is a minimally invasive intervention as it has no particular risks, it does not require hospitalizations, hospitalizations or long recoveries, moreover it is carried out in day surgery through local anesthesia and sedation.

The first phase consists in the aspiration of the fat, from the areas where the fat is present in excess, this operation takes place through a micro-cannula. The same fat that is sucked must then be subjected to a purification treatment through a centrifuge, the fat finally implants itself, like a filler, in the chosen area through a very thin needle.

After the surgery, you may feel some small discomfort, such as swelling and redness.

Lipofilling is in effect a semi-permanent treatment because only a small part of the injected fat, equal to 30-40%, is reabsorbed over time (i.e. 12-18 months).

It is difficult to be able to indicate a standard price for lipophilicity, especially due to the variety of areas that can be treated. The costs in fact vary according to the size of the affected area and the amount of fat that must be removed and implanted. They range from a minimum cost of 500-1000 euros, for carrying out minor operations, to a maximum of 3000-4000 euros, in the case of lipofilling operations for breast or buttock augmentation.

Lipofilling is a filling technique that uses vital fat cells taken from the same subject as infiltrative material. In other words, this surgery allows you to remodel, through filling, some shapes that are emptied, in particular the buttocks in the medial part.

With lipofilling, plastic and harmonic curves are obtained without the risk of rejection and allergy that could occur when using synthetic filling materials.

The filling obtained with lipofilling is the ideal solution for patients who wish to obtain new, fuller and firmer shapes without resorting to prostheses, with a very natural aesthetic result. This surgical technique is used in the case of:

  • flat buttocks

  • buttocks emptied

  • skin depressions due to loss of substance (as in the case of trauma)

Under local anesthesia in Latvia, the surgeon sucks in a certain amount of fat from a hidden area. This is suitably purified to eliminate impurities and dead cells which would be immediately reabsorbed by the body without giving a lasting filling. Then we proceed with the infiltration of the adipocytes directly in the place that needs filling, incising the gluteal fold by just a couple of millimeters. Then the surgeon manually shapes the infiltrated material, so as to make it take root in the desired area in a homogeneous way.

If this procedure is performed at the same time as liposuction, this technique takes place at the end of the suction phase. The part is finally wrapped.

Filling flat buttocks with the lipofilling technique brings some notable advantages over prostheses (which, moreover, are not very comfortable to wear):

  • absolute naturalness of the aesthetic result

  • the risk of rejection is avoided

  • no scars are seen

  • remodeling is also noticeable when wearing tight-fitting clothes

  • the outcome is homogeneous

The only signs of this surgery are very short and subtle, generally made in an absolutely invisible point, the fold of the buttocks.

In the days following the lipofilling it is normal for the part to be swollen and edematous. It takes a couple of weeks for the tissues to normalize on average. Gradually the situation will normalize and some of the infiltrated material will undergo natural reabsorption.

It is possible to maintain the result with subsequent infiltrative sessions, also to refine the results or seek a further increase.

Lipofilling is generally a procedure carried out in a broader context of buttock remodeling. It is usually practiced after liposuction of the hips and buttocks, or after the Wet Lipo Lift to eliminate cellulite. Furthermore, it is not uncommon for the patient to request lipofilling to refine the results of a torsoplasty, which lifts and reshapes the buttocks.
