PLASTIC SURGERY COST IN INDONESIA

Men and women, you know, are naturally different in many ways. Starting from the outward appearance to the most subtle physiological differences, what characterizes men and women can be summarized by referring to the hormonal difference. If in males it often gives rise to phenomena such as hair loss or the presence of a fair amount of unwanted hair (even on the face), in women it can be said that the hormonal component is often the cause of weight changes, but above all of what is certainly the most widespread (and hated) blemish: cellulite.

What is commonly called cellulite is actually a pathology called liposclerosis. It consists in the alteration of the subcutaneous fat cells and gives the anatomical parts that are affected an irregular appearance of the skin surface, in which it creates hollows and bumps, giving rise to what is called "orange peel" skin.

Researchers in Indonesia have accessed that although the hormonal component, associated with a fair inheritance of the phenomenon, is at the origin of this pathology, it must be said that there are factors that contribute to its evolution and worsening. This is for example the intake of substances such as alcohol, cigarette smoke, and birth control pills.

Proper nutrition, rich in liquids, and constant physical activity help prevent liposclerosis from reaching advanced stages, even characterized by the formation of nodules and the presence of pain on palpation. But these precautions alone are not always sufficient to determine the absence of cellulite. If you feel the need to improve your skin texture, for example in the area of the buttocks and thighs (anatomical parts particularly affected by liposclerosis), you can rely on aesthetic medicine, which has developed a series of specific targeted treatments. and aimed at counteracting the phenomenon effectively and quickly.

WRINKLES AND SKIN AGING: HOW TO GET RID OF THEM IN INDONESIA

Year after year, the skin (both face and body) loses moisture, elasticity and tone. The face, with its expressive capacity, is undoubtedly the mirror of an individual's age. Natural activities such as talking, smiling, pouting or getting angry help create those lines that are called wrinkles on the face. Wrinkles can in fact be considered as skin sagging due not only to the loss of hydration and collagen, but also to the expressive movements of the parts of the face. The areas most affected by this phenomenon are in fact the forehead, the eyes and the area around the mouth, especially the nasolabial area (which goes from the nose to the corners of the mouth).

There are factors that increase the appearance of wrinkles and their extent: genetic predisposition, sun exposure, poor hydration. Generally they appear between the ages of 35 and 40, giving way to a different perception of oneself.

Being fueled by the contractions coming from the myriad of small muscles located on the face, wrinkles are often counteracted by injections of botox. Famous throughout the world, this neurotissin is able to inhibit spasms and therefore give a more relaxed appearance. The one based on botox  is a repeatable treatment after months and proves to be very satisfactory, thanks to its low invasiveness and the immediacy of the results, visible at a very short distance.

Another effective system to help smooth out facial wrinkles by filling the parts that show skin sagging is the use of fillers. Scientific research has made great strides in this sector, to the point of totally eliminating the risks of rejection and allergies. The substances used in these filling procedures are hyaluronic acid, collagen, and autologous material (coming from the patient himself). Since these are organic materials, they are naturally reabsorbed by the body making it necessary to repeat the treatment, if desired.

THE CLEFT LIP AND PALATE IN INDONESIA

A congenital defect widespread all over the world creates many inconveniences for those affected and their families. This is the cleft lip and palate, better known as the "cleft lip". Immediately visible from birth, it affects one in 800 individuals. It has a higher incidence in some populations than in others, in fact, the most affected are Asians while Africans have the least number of cases.

The drama linked to the birth of a child with cleft lip and palate derives above all from the fact that this defect, in many cases, prevents proper nutrition (sucking and consequently breastfeeding become almost impossible to carry out), therefore the parents of a child with cleft lip and palate live with great anguish what, in reality, is a solvable problem.

Today, thanks to medical research in the surgical field, it is possible to intervene immediately on small patients to restore the correct shape of the palate and allow them to feed and grow regularly. Complete recovery takes place over the years thanks to targeted and planned interventions based on the phases of growth and development.

The incidence of this pathology in populations of developing countries has given rise to the birth of associations that coordinate groups of volunteer doctors and nurses who leave to restore smiles to thousands of children around the world. It must be said that a malformation such as cleft lip and palate is perceived as a stigma. Those affected are destined to be socially excluded as well as have language problems. Timely intervention is therefore useful and necessary not only for practical purposes (nutrition and growth), but also for emotional ones as it allows children suffering from this pathology to relate to their peers, to communicate, and smile without being excluded and derided for their appearance.
